Gifted and Talented

In an effort to provide support and services to students identified as Gifted and Talented, Milford ISD provides individualized curriculum that reflects more advanced, more sophisticated, and more elaborated opportunities for GT students to actively pursue learning.  Students experience the learning process through curiosity, imagination, risk-taking and a complex curriculum differentiated from the standard curriculum.  Students have occasions to demonstrate their expertise on subjects that they have an interest and desire to develop.  These objectives are met through differentiation in lesson plans by individual teachers and through pullout programs during the school year.
