Accountability
TEA accredits public schools in Texas at the district level for grades K-12. Milford ISD is an Accredited District with an Overall Performance Rating "B" for 2021-2022.
In addition, Milford School received a distinction designation for Postsecondary Readiness. To earn a distinction for postsecondary readiness, a K–12 campus must have at least 33 percent of their indicators in the top quartile of their campus comparison groups.

Texas Academic Performance Report
The 2020-2021 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) is now available at the link below. TAPR combines details of district and campus academic performance with financial reports and information about staff, programs, and demographics. Paper copies can be provided upon request.
School Report Cards
The 2023-2024 School Report Card (SRC) is now available on the Texas Education Agency website at the link below. The school report card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance.

Mildford ISD ESSER III Grant
We need your assistance in taking a brief survey for the use of the ESSER III Grant Funds.
The purpose of ESSERIII, in general, is to award subgrants to local educational agencies (LEAs) to address the impact that Covid-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools.
ESSERIII requirement is to distribute funds to target evidence-based practices for learning acceleration, summer enrichment, and after school programming. The use of funds must include Health & Safety as related to Covid (CDC Guidance), Accelerated Instruction/Learning, Interventions in academic, social-emotional, and mental health needs of all students.
Milford ISD is reaching out to parents, community, teachers, staff, and students to obtain guidance on developing a plan to meet our needs and Milford School. Please see the survey below and share your thoughts on the use of the ESSER III funds.

Child Find Notice
Milford ISD provides special education and related services to children who have or are suspected of having a disability. Special education services are available to children with disabilities ages 3 through 21. Children who have impaired vision or hearing can receive services from birth through age 21. Services are also provided to students with disabilities attending private or home school within the boundaries of Milford ISD regardless of the child's place of residence.
If your child attends public, private, or home school in Milford ISD and you believe your child has or may have a disability, please contact one of our campuses. You may also contact Ellis County Shared Services at 972-483-3201. We will work with you to evaluate your child, determine if your child has a disability that makes him/her eligible for special education services, and provide educational services to your child if he/she does qualify for services. Services are provided to your child free of charge.

Physical Activity for Students in Elementary School and Middle School
Use of Tobacco Products
MISD has adopted and enforces policies and procedures pertaining to the use of tobacco products. Students are prohibited from possessing or using any type of tobacco product, including electronic cigarettes or any other electronic vaporizing device, while on school property at any time or while attending an off campus school-related activity.
The district and its staff strictly enforce prohibitions against the use of all tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes or any other electronic vaporizing device, by students and others on school property and at school-sponsored and school-related activities. Penalties for possession and/or use of tobacco products are outlined in the district’s Discipline Policies and Guidelines document as well as the Student Code of Conduct.
