Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Milford ISD will officially transition to a new mascot identity: the Milford Mallards. 🦆 This decision comes after a comprehensive review of symbols that best represent the values and spirit of our community. Known for their strong sense of unity, protective nature, and relentless drive, Mallards have long been a familiar presence throughout Milford, often seen moving together, standing their ground, and looking out for one another. As part of this transition, updated branding, uniforms, and facility signage will begin rolling out in phases across campuses and athletic programs. New mascot. At the March school board meeting, trustees were proud to hear from the Milford Mentors Care program. This program has served 21 Milford students through 17 volunteers this school year. Milford is still seeking volunteers for the program, please contact the main office to learn more about how you could impact the life of an MISD student!
