Sgt. Investigator at the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Amy Gonzales, spoke to JH and HS students today about internet and social media safety. Students were given information about how to keep their accounts safe and how to report inappropriate activity or content.
The holidays are near, and as a special service, our school is hosting a Little Shoppers Shoppe. Children will have the opportunity to pick out their own inexpensive, high-quality gifts for family and friends. The Little Shoppers Shoppe is a program designed to allow children to shop independently at their school - in a safe and familiar environment. They can learn valuable skills such as planning, budgeting, and decision-making, while experiencing the joy of giving. There are gifts available for all members of your family: mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers, and even pets! Gifts are priced from approximately $0.25 to $12.00, with most between $3.00 to $7.00.
